The entire event including aircraft arriving and departing as well as footage of the seminars including Graham Pritchard’s amazing ski equipped C130 Hercules daring rescue flight to the South Pole to bring back a scientist stricken with cancer and needing medical attention that could not wait until winter’s end as well as clips of the BBQ lunch graciously prepared by the Katahdin Wings with musical background can be seen in the DVD video of this same event listed elsewhere in my eBay store. This item is high quality photo poster of the cover of a 1946 “Civil Aeronautics Board” - Safety Bureau Seaplane Safety Bulletin by Harold G. Crowley of the Accident Analysis Division. The Bulletin itself covers the analysis and “breakdown” of 47 seaplane accidents over an 18 month period with a focus on “cause rather then results”. The cover drawing is priceless and shows a smiling seaplane pilot taking off, ready to enjoy an afternoon of flying, unknowingly raising the wake and rocking the boat of a nearby fisherman. Now, this could never happen in real life! The paper shows its age, with darkened boarders and a fine yellow patina that is preserved on the poster.
